Thomas is naturally at ease with children which makes them comfortable with him! He makes the lessons fun and is creative in his pedagogy. My son looks forward to his lessonsevery week and is progressing along nicely. Lastly, Thomas is vey professional, reliable, and an excellent communicator. I strongly recommend him for any family looking to bring music into their child's life!

Thomas is the best music teacher ever. He's giving our whole family lessons at this point and we couldn't be happier with his approach and with our progress. The great thing about Thomas is that he understands music so well, so inside and out, that he can magically see what you need, and how you need to learn, and then teach you that way. He does not bring a one-size-fits-all approach. Take my family for example... he sees that I enjoy abstract thinking and theory... so we talk about the mathematics of music and song structure and why John Williams sucks. My wife on the other hand is more naturally talented, so he has her composing melodies and learning complicated fingering techniques. My daughter is learning how to read music and keep time, and my mother-in-law is starting with simple versions of Vivaldi. We're all roughly at the same level, but he's helping us each approach music in our own way so that we LOVE it. It's difficult to overstate what a truly gifted teacher Thomas is. He's also just a warm, wonderful person. Good luck finding someone better.

Thomas is a wonderful music teacher! He makes the lessons fun for the kids, and teaches in a style I wish I had learned when I was young. He teaches them the traditional notes, etc. but also teaches ear training, music theory, and rhythm (sometimes with drums). He's a great teacher for the entire family, for new students, and for experienced students. He has been teaching our family for the past year and we are so thankful we found him!
